The bride daintily gowned in ivory 'satin, period style, over `which fell the bridal veil of tulle, caught witlt'orange blossoms, and carrying a shower bouquet of 'Opholia roses, lilies of the valley and maidenhair fern, entered the church on the arnr of her father. no bride •was atended by Iter two'sisters.,Miss Louise- Huriburt as maid of honor, while Miss Frances HmIburt was brideenraid. A 'FAMILY R&TINION' An interesting re -union occurred in London Iast week when the seven sons of the late William Taylor and Iris wife, for many years residents of Clinton, met in a happy family gath- ering. eThe ath-ering.'The brothers had not all met for about thirty years and the gath- erin'g was a -particularly happy one. .7'oseph and Jacob reside in Toronto. William' in Chicago, Israel, John' and 5, L. in London and Stephen lives in Minnedosa; Mian. • On Tuesday they came up to Clin- ton to visit the graves of their par- ents who lie buried out in,the Clinton cemetery. ,One thing 'which distin- guishes the Taylor brothers -is their respect for the memory of theit par- ents. To ,a good father' and mother and the training received - °in their early -home they -tine and, all ascribe any success they have been able to achieve in life. HYDRO RATES REDUCED A reduction of $1.00 a horsepower a year in the s y cotafhorsePawertothe Clinton Hydro System has been, grant- ed by the Ontario Hydro -Electric Pow- er Conihnission, effctive from Jan. last. The new costis $38.00-a horse- power a year.- Last year it was $39. This cut will not materially affect the rates to local consumers. The domestic rate will be the same except that for 3 wire service of 2000 watts or over, there will ben service charge of 66c a •month instead of the former levy of 33e a month, - - The Commercial rate will be the same, and the power rate and street lighting charges will be unchanged.. Edward Wise • received word yesterday of the death of his broth- er, George Wise of Cleveland,' his wife, his daughter, Mrs. Lester Van- derwerf, and her two children aged three -and five, awing to a motor acci- dent.
