Youngblut was rernan- •ded for a week. Both ears were taken last •week and were later recovered on side roads in the county. The cars belong to H. Newcombe, of Goderich, and Stewart Plunkett. He had undergone an opera- -tion for appendicitis a week previous but gangrene developed with fatal re- sults after the most intense suffering.. The deceased nran, was the youngest son of the late Charles. Spafford and ltirs. Spafford and had been a resi- dent esident of Blyth -practically all his life time, with the exception of periods when he was working at his profes sion as Telegraph operator, he being relieving in Oshawa at the time of his illness. He is survived by his, sorrowing mother, five sisters and, three brothers Mrs. R.
