ofthe household were aroused and

ed considerable 'headway.' All the
shelves in the 'Pantry were burned
and quite a patch of the ceiling. It
had also•'eoine through to the kitchen
ceiling before it- was extinguished.
Luckily a. :full cistern was near at
band. -The origin of the conflagation
can only. be accounted for by the fact

Odd Fellows, recently, when District

to take steps to install a powerful
radio receiving set in the Alexandra
Marine and General Hospital, for the
benefit of the patients and nursing
