What might have -been a very ser-
ious aeeident occurred on Wednesday
evening, when Mr. Norman Tyndall
alighted from a car at his gate and
not looking behind was knocked ever
by a car going south. He sustained
a couple of 'broken -ribs and was bad-
ly bruised, ife was taken to the hos-
ital for an X -Ray, but was able tc
return to hiehome on friday and
although very sore, he is, getting a-
round nicely,
A large deer was seen grazing
with the cattle on Tuesday morning
on the farmof lMlr. Arthur Wiltse,
It scampered off in the direction of
the woods and apparently had nc
trouble in clearing the fences.
