was one of the co-operators in the,
projects last year, with the C.E.F.
It was the general feeling of the
meeting that such tests were very
practical to the average farmer.
In the discussion of the suggested
amendments to the Weed Control Acs,,
the „meeting was unanimous' to thin
effect that road -side levelling is go-
ing to be necessary for .the success-
ful eradication of weeds; and that
close 'co-operation will be' required on
the part of all concerned.'
In connection •'with Pasture Ila=
pravement, Harry.' Timms, reported
Sturdy, a.vote of thanks was extend-
ed to Bain Stewart, agricultural rep-
resentative, and staff fo their un-
tiring efforts during recent voting.
A motion was passed by executive,
asking township 'units" and affiliated
associations to pay expenses of dele-
gates to all regular county meetings
at the rate of ten 'cents mileage one

group of three numbers, "Songs of

It was directed by Miss Margaret
Ballachey. One, of the highlights of
the evening was when one of the
senior boys, Bill Robinson, played •a
saxophone solo and responded to an
encore.. He was accompanied by Bill
Freer at the piano.
The final number on the program
was a cleverly -acted and amusing
one -act play "Id On Par]e Francais',
("French spoken here"). The char -1.
