QUEEN At the family residence in Detroit, Mich., on Friday, August 10, 1945, Hilliard Queen, beloved husband of Mrs. 11. Queen the former Belle Agnew -only sister, of Mrs. William McClinchey of Clinton. Funeral -service took place Monday, August 13th, in Detroit, was a mock wed..ing, which pro- vided much fun and merriment for the guests. • The blushing bride (Lloyd Batkin) was charming in a long white lace wedding gown, with a net headdress adorned with red • and white • holly- hocks, The bride carried an enor- mous bouquet of long-itemined glad- ioli. The groom (Mrs. Ken Cooke) wore white trousers, blue coat. The bridesmaid (Sgt. McKenzie) wore a long blue skirt, a white lace blouse with long sleeves and carried a bou- quet of gladioli and wild carrot, her 1•eadclres was of net with red and white hoI'yhoeke. A wide bow of red ribbon around the waist •completed the costume. The best man (Mary Watson) wore wh'te trousers and e blue coat, with a huge red handker- chief in' the breast pocket. The flower'girl was. Leila Agar, who were a red and white check skirt` and a' blue and white stripr.ed blouse: A tremendous white •,ribbon bovv in her hei r topped" o^f"tier costume. For her bouquet, she carried a bunch of wild carrot.
