Dear Mrs. Prentice—
I received the very lovely parcel
of March 1, a few days ago, so as
I've got a few spare hours to-dajr,
thought 1''d better write a, few let-

thanes to -write letters in the past
couple or months, because of proving
about so mush. ,Gee I've sure seen- a
lot of different countries lately.
It's a big change to Italy up here,
and after being in the mountains all
winter seems sort of lost on flat-

I hear that a sew ' of the boys ai e
getting home again, but guess they.
have been wounded pretty badly.
So far 1 have been fairly lucky, and
hope when I go home that at meat
be thro sgh being wounded.
I guess by now that things will be,
shaping like a lovely summer again,
Gee I'd sure love to be back to en-
joy it. Maybe if things fold' up here
I may get in onthetail'' and of it.
Things are sure.' changing over fast

place, next, day your -are in it.
We were in Beleuiin 'for a few
weeks and were we treated well
realy it was just like . being back.
home, living' in pirivate billets and
