Granary Weevil
This is the best time to get rid of
granary weevil when most of the
granaries are empty. Farmers would
be well advised to elean out any old
grain and thoroughly spray walls
and floors with coal -oil. The use of
an oil can in the cracks is a good
idea.
If a man is certain of having wee-
vil he may be well advised to repeat
this operation.
The weevil is often the cause of the
grain heating in the bin. The beetled
themselves are brown, about one
eighth of an inch long.
