The June meeting .of the W. M. S.
Was held Thsiraday evening in the
Sunday School room inunediateity
after the weekly Prayer Service. The
President, Mrs. Fingland, was in the
chair. Plans were made for the yearly
entertainment for the Junior Groups
ef this Society.
The Worship Service was in charge
of Mrs. McG4Il's group. Mess, Mc-
Gill read the Scripture lesson follow-
ed, by prayer by Mrs. Lane.
A lovely solo was rendered by Miss
Audrey Jervis accompanied by Mrs.
Agnew on ,the piano and immediately
follo't4edby an interesting reading
by Mrs, Stutter.
The speaker of the evening Mies
W. Trewartha was introduced/ by
Mrs. Fingland. Hertalk was most
instructive and interesting and great-
ly enjoyed by all.
Before ,the close of the meeting
Miss Trewartha was presented with
a lovely biymnary, the presentation
being made by Mrs:' Pickard and the
address read by the, President of the
Auxiliary. Mrs. Chowen closed the
meeting with prayer •after which a
social half hour was 'spent,

The June tneebing of the Chancel
Guild was held at the home of Mrs.
Geo. Walker.' The President, Mrs. D.
II. McInnes, led in repeating the
Guild prayer. The " treasurer Mrs.
Zapfe, reported, a small balance in
the treasurery, after new suapaioes
and mortar boards had been purchas-
ed for the choir. Rev. R. M. 13ulte'el
gave a brief talk concerning some
phases of the work conducted by the
Embro Caledonian Society.

syringo the bride was given in

quisite gown was of satin in
antique ivory tone paneled with
Chantilly' late, with sweethleart
neckline and softly bouffant skirt
which swept into'a train. The veil
of ivory silk .illusion and Chan-
tilly lace ' was ut full length, crest-
ed with a sunburst headdress of
lace. Her only ornament was a
silver lbeket, gift of the groom,'
and she carried gardenias and
bouvardia.
The bride's,sister, Miss 'WilmaRadford, ef London, was her maid
of honer, wearing pastel orchid
satin in floor length with a small
flowered hat and; shoulder veil.
She wore a pearl necklet, gift of
the bride, and carried ivory -tin'te'd
roses.
Flt. Lt. Clark Willoughby, of
Montreal, was, best man and Jack
Ferguson, of London, and George
Beattie, Clinton, acted an -ashlers.
The reception was held at the
home ef the bride, where her mother
received in a floor -length gown, of
chartreuse crepe, with matching hat
and corsage of carnations. Mrs. Wat-
tors, who came from London for the
wedding, was gowned in rose faconne
crepe with a flowered orchid hat and
corsage of carnations. Buffet refresh-
ments were served, a four --tiered
wedding cake centring the bride's
table, which was adorned with) bowls
of fragrant roses, and white tapers.
PIt. Lt. and Mrs. Watters left
later on a trip up. the Great Lakes,
en route to" spend their honeymoon at
Clear Lake, Man,, before taking up
residence at Neepawa, Man. The
bride donned for traveling a. rose
crepe suit with white accessories,
