92nd birthday on Sunday. Formerly
Martha Jane Rawson, daughter ughter of
Jeteph Howson .and Janet Brown, she
"was born near Toronto on November
16, 1855. On Dee. 3, 1875 he married
• •John Flunking. After their marriage
'they farmed in Mullett township forst
on the 13th, then on the Elkin bonne-
• - stead. In 1890 they moved to Auburn
where Mr. Bunking died in 1897.
She is •a member of the 'Auburn,
Baptists Church. Of a family of seven
five are living, Mrs. Almina Farrow
of -Milford; Del in U. IS. A. who is at
•;present helping to care for her moth-

LIVESTOCK COUNTY
Huron County is one of the lead-
ing livestock -producing counties of
Ontario, it is indicated by official
figures published in the October r
port of the ,Statistics Branch, Ont
ario Department of Agriculture, bas
ed on a survey made as at June 1.
In total number of cattle, Huron
County was second in the Province
with 136,190 head, es compared with
138,123 a year previously, Gtey Coun-
ty, .a much larger •county in area,
standing first with 147,410, as again-
st 146,956 last year. Bruce was third
with 133,711, and Mid'diessex fourth
with 132,809.
In horse papulation, Huron was
third with 18.805, as ',compared with
19,056, Grey standing first with
20,404, and Middlessex second with
19,078.
Iat hens and chickens, Huron was
second with 1;522,975, a •decline from
1,735,254, while Lambton was first
with 1,689,253. •
In swine, Huron was fourth with
111,194 as .against 104,410, Perth be-
ing in first place with 126,878 .Grey
second with 126,475, and Wellington
third with 116,41.9.

Pay Visit to Canada
A party of six young earmens from
different .parts of the United King-
dom has been touring the U.S.A. at
the invitation of the Future Farmers
of American.
Two of the boys, Jahn L, Cornah,
Warwick, England, and Alexander
Gampbeil, Aberdeenshire, •Scotland,
are visiting ,Cansdal from November
8 . to 28. They will spend their time
on the farms of memrs beof the Ont-
ario Junior Farmers, with the ex-
ception of the period November 16
to 21, when they will be the guests
of the Canadian Council of Boys' and
Girls' Glebe and will attend the Corn -
en's annual,national competitions for
members in Toronto on November 17.
