The Ladies' Guild of Si.:Mark's
Anglican Ohureh held a successful
bazaar and `sale of hoine-made baking
ora Saturday afternoon, April 5, in
the Sunday School ]nom of Knox
Presbyterian Church. The candy
booth was .in charge of Mrs. Alf.
Nesbrutt• the lunch booth was operat-
ed by l'Lrs. Gordon Taylor, and the
bazaar •and home-made baking was in
charge of MTs. Thomas Johnston,
Mas, E'. Phillips, Mrs. Thomas Hag-
gitt, Laura Phillips. Proceeds from
the proie*t amounted to over 560.
Hymn Books Dedicated
Sluch interest was manifested in
the Baptist Church on Sunday after-
noon at their Easter service when
new rhyme books were dedicated to
the glory of God, This gift was
donated to the congaegation, pulpit
and choir by the Ladies' Aid. • The
hymnaries ,are maroon in calotir, and
present a rich appearance. The ad-
dress was read by Mrs. Glen Raithby,
and 1x•esently .the books were distrib-
uted, hy George Robertson and Bob
Wilson. Rev. C. 0. Anderson offer-
ed the dedication prayer, and the
ceremony was rounded out hy the
mighty hymn, "All Bail the Power
of Jesus Name." .Mrs. R. J. Phillips

Moline Johnston rendered a solo.
