An en- joyable hour was spent in toboggan- ing down the fast slopes under the stars, with Scouter Sam Castle busy :as a beaver acting as Traffic Officer :and Lieutenant Lois Connell and Scouter Don Venton doing the push - off duties. ,Suffering no more than a scratched tip and a few rips in pants (Scouter Don's included), we marched back to the Hall to be greeted by hot ;bowls of soup and crackers pre- pared by Captain Mrs. Castle. All agreed it had been a memorable Scout -Guide Week outing. We were dismissed until the Sunday church parade with the Patrol Leaders hold- ing a short 'Court of Honour after.
