FEAGAN-HARRIS
Hohnesville United •Church was the
scene of e very,pretty summer wed-
ding, on Saturday, August 10, at
high noon, when Rev, C. P. Tavener
united in marriage, Filiehbeth. Christ-
ine (Betty) Harris and Phillip Ross
reagan. The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. Marty Harris and the late
John Harris, lealmesville, and the
groom is the son. of Mr. and Mrs.
George W. Feagan, Benmiller. The
church was effectively decanted with
gladioli.
The wedding music was supplied
by Mrs. William Yeo at the organ
and the soloist was Mrs. Doris M.
Acheson, Lindsay, sister of the bride.
She was gowned in floor-leegth aqua
blue and wom a corsage of pink roses.
For her selections she chose "0 Prom-
ise Me" before the ceremony and "Pll
Walk Beside You" during the sign-
ing of the register.
Given in marriage by her brother,
Donald Harris, the bride was lovely in
her wedding gown of floor -length
white satin. The dress was made
with a torso waist, lily -point sleeves
and a ,sereetheaTt neckline, and she
wore a long veil. Her only ornaments
were a bleak cameo gold necklace
with bracelet to match, the gift of
the groom. She carried a cascade
bouquet of red roses.
Attending the bride was her niece,
Miss Phyllis Harris, as bridesmaid.
She was gowned in floor -length aqua
crep,e with a ,sweetheart neckline, fit-
ted bodice, and full skirt. She wore
a matching shoulder -length veil and
carried a cascade bouquet of pink
resses.
The groom wasattended by his
brother, Earl Feagan, and the ushers
were William Harris and Dewar Tal-
bot, nephew and brother -in -low of
the bride.
Following the ceremony a reception
was held at the home of the bride's
mother, where she received wearing
a mauve frock with white accessctries.
Assisting was the gromn's mother,
wearing olive green with white ac-
cessories. Both wore corsages of white
carnations.
For travelling the bride donned
white jersey dress, cerise coat trim-
med with black and white accessories.
• The bridal couple left amid showers
of confetti for a honeymoon in Sar -
ma, Hamilton, Niagara and points
north. On their return they will re-
side in Holetesville.
