belonging to the Richard Bailey

Greer was highest bidder for the red

Shirley Chandler, Parkhill, daugh-

pen, passed her entraree examination
with honours at the age of ten years,
and was awarded a silver trophy and
fifteen dollars.

The third and deciding game in the
Huron -Perth soani.finals, Zurich Vs.
Heenan, will be played on the Hensall
diamond, Monday, August 19, at 6
p.m. This game promises to be the
real thriller of the season.
Fourth in Race
Bill Mickle, 15-year-o1d son of Mr.
and .Mr. Laird Miekle, Hensall, came
fourth in the Sail Boat Regatta at
Rondeau Park last weekend. Bill had
bought himself a new Lark sail boat
and has won three honors this year
so far, seond, third and fourth.

Thieves Open Safe
Using crowbars to prep the door
from the safe hi the office of the
J. B. 'Mustard Lumber Company,
Brucefield, during Monday night Of
last week, thieves escaped with about
$15 cash. The theft was discoverd
by Jack Mustard when he entered the
office on Tuesday morning. The door
from the safe was taken to Stratford
as police sought to obtain fingerprint
photographs. A safe was removed
from the office of Gardner Motor
Sales, Goderich, the same night and
$115 stolen,

fotrune to fall down stairs at her
home on Friday. She suffered a brok-
en arm and a shaking up. She was
taken to Goderieh Hospital where the

Betty Harris, a bride -elect of Satur-
