King's` Honors Bestowed On Several From District Two members of the RCAF, who have lived in Clinton for quite some time have been mentioned in the King's Birthday Honours List. Both of these men have served with great distinction at, the R. and C. School, Clinton. Squadron Leader Harold M. Carioni has reecived the MBE and Fit. Sgt. Allan D. Watson the BEM. Watson and family left town a few weeks ago, 0 OBITUARY ERNEST EDGAR BROWN Following a public service in St. Andrew's Presbyterian' Church, Pet- rolia, at two o'clock this afternoon, under Masonic auspices, interment tock place in Hillsdale Cemetery, Pet- rolia, of the remains of Ernest Edgar Brown, 58, Queen St., Petrolia, whose death occurred suddenly in Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital, Monday night, June 10. Services were in charge of Rev. G. R. Maude, pastor of the Baptist Church, owing to the illness of Rev. R. J. Hay. Mr. Brown was employed at the Canadian OiI Ceinpany refinery, Pet- rolia, for 27 years and was at work until late Monday afternoon. Deceased was 'born in Clinton, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Brown, and married Miss Katie Neilans, Clinton, in 1914 when they moved to Petrolia to reside. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Petrolia Lodge 194, A.F. & A.M., and a past patron of Britannia Chapter, No.. 34, Order of Eastern Star. He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Willert, Sarnia; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Osbaldes- ton,.Clinton; and Mrs. George Jones, Victoria.
