Christening of Baby
At St. Paul's Service
A very lovely feature of the morn-
ing service in St, Paul's Anglican
Church Sunday was the christening
by the rector, Rev. R. M. P. Bulteel,
of Gilbert Owen Troop, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Fletcher Troop, Toronto, and
grandson of Mrs. 11. B. Combe, Clin-
ton. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Willis, Lon-
don, cousins of the baby's mother,
acted as proxy for the godparents
who were unable to be present.
In the afternoon a delightful
christening party was held at "The
Cedars," Mrs Combe's Rattenbury
St. E. home, Quite a number of
friends took this opportunity, to call.
Mrs. Combe was assisted by her sis-
ter, Mrs. A. Martinson, Winnipeg.
Ars. W. U. Latornell, St Thomas,
poured teaand those assisting were
Mrs G. M. Counter, Mrs. F. Fingland
and Mrs. Smith.
