Proclamation
DAYLIGHT SAVING
The following resolution was adopted at a special meeting
of Council April 23:
"That as Stratford, Mitchell, Seaforth, Goderich, Kincardine,
London and St, Marys have decided to adopt the plan of Daylight
Saving, Clinton adopt the same measure to complete the connecting
link, and authorize the Mayor to issue a proclamation declaring
the measure effective as at April 28 and continuing until September
29, 1946."
Pursuant to the above motion, I hereby declare Daylight
Saving in effect in the Town of Clinton from Sunday, April 28, to
Sunday, September 29.

Happy Workers Hold
Regular April Meeting
The April meeting of the Happy
Workers was held at the home of
Mrs. Albert Glazier with ten members
present. During - the afternoon a quilt
was quilted. The tacky ticket was
drawn by Elaine Ball and won by Mrs.'
William Glazier.
The next meeting is to be held at
the home of Mrs, Raymond Jamieson,
May 2. The meeting closed by singing
God Save the King after which a
lunch was served by group two.
