Film Board Showings
The National Film Board show-
ings will be given in Bayfield
on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the school
at 2.30 p.m.. and in the Town
Hall at 8.30 p.m.. The series in-
cludes: "Eye Witness No. 14";
"Time and Terrain"; "It's fun to
sing"; 'Over Dependency"; "Can-
ad'a Calling."

pressed his appreciation. Mr. and
Mrs. Bean are moving to Amos
Andrews farm just west of Aub-
urn, which they have purchased.
Their son Morris and bride are
taking over the Bean farm.

Ladies'. Club Meets
The September meeting of;Sum-
merhill Ladies' Club was held at
the home of Mrs. E. Farquhar with
18 members and six visitors pres-
ent. The meeting opened with
the singing of "The Maple Leaf"
and the repeating of the Lord's
Prayer in unison.
Mrs. Hayward thanked the
Club for the card sent to her
while in the hospital, and an-
other letter was read from Mrs.
Yeats, Egypt. Mrs. Knoblauch
and Mrs. Charles Merrill were
named a committee to buy wool
for knitting children's sox for
Victomin.. Hospital. Aprons were
received for the bazaar which is
to be held on Saturday, October
8, in the Council Chamber, Clin-
ton. Committee were named tor
the various. booths, At the same
