A short program was enjoyed which included com- munity singing, reading by Mrs. Oliver Anderson, Mrs. Harry Yungbiut and Mrs. Charles Mill- ion. David Lockhart read an address expressing regret at their removal from the community and Lawrence presented them with a purse of money. Mr. Bean ex- pressed his appreciation. Club Meets The September meeting of;Sum- merhill Ladies' Club was held at the home of Mrs. E. Farquhar with 18 members and six visitors pres- ent. The meeting opened with the singing of "The Maple Leaf" and the repeating of the Lord's Prayer in unison.
