Church, St. Jos- eph—attended the 300th anniver- sary of the shrine of the Canad- ian 1V1myrs, Fort Ste. Marie, near Midland. They also attended the open air pageant. The meet- ing opened by singing "The Old Rugged Cross," followed by the Lord's Prayer. The treasurer and. secretary's report was then given. The roll call was answer- ed by 14 members. A letter of thanks was received from Mrs. Hugh Ball. The lucky, ticket was won by Mrs. William Holland. The next meeting to be held at the home of Mrs. Raymond Jam- ieson. During the afternoon a quilt was quilted.
