LaFrance sparked Air Farce team with three goals . . , A re- peat performance of the game at Seaforth on Thursday last. The ice in the Arena was fastand a good surface. "Twit" Leblanc played a sparkling game for the RCAF as did 1Vlaeleoneld for Goderich. Due to not being . able to see and keep track of the whale game there will be no assists shown for this game. It is prom- ised that for the future games it will be noted. LaFrance started his career for the Air Force with three goals. The game started rough end end - ,ed the same way with both sides serving penalties, both minor and major. The highlight of the game was a penalty shot by LeFrance on the Seaforth goal keeper. The goalie got a piece of his pads.on the puck, but could not keep the puck from going into the nets. LaFrance beat him with a hard shot from about egiht to ten feet out. O'Shea starred for Seaforth with a good effort at killing off ,penalties. LIONS MIDGETS STILL UNBEATEN IN 'THREE STARTS Clinton Lions Midgets are still unbeaten in three starts in the WOAA Midget group race. The youngsters won in Palmerston last night 7-3, after taking the first of the season et Wingham 6-3; and figuring in a scoreless tie with Wingham Midgets in Clinton Lions Arena Thursday evening last on very poor ice. Lions, were full value for their win last night, with the Maltby brothers --Cameron and Clare - in a stellar role; Ron Carter snatched the first counter and Cam Meltby the second, where- upon Clare Maltby proceeded to tally four in a row. Car Maltby scored the final one. Tommy Lloyd, formerly of Clinton, but now of Harriston, was in the Palmerston line-up.
