AT MILVERTON
Clinton Colts lost their first
game of the season in the OHA
Intermediate "B" series at Mil=
verton by 3-4 last night. It was
a clean, hard match, with no
'Penalties marring the play. Colts
were noticeably short on con-
dition and practise, one or two
not having worn skates before
this season.

at Wingham, in a WOAA Inter-
mediate hockey tilt in Group
Six. Johnson paced the winners
with four goals, Ridley getting
the fifth counter. For Belgrave,
Manse, Proctor, McClenaghan and
Nethery scored. Only three pen-
alties were handed out.

The *OSSA games will start
on Thursday when we play a
game with Seaforth at Clinton.
The girls on the team are practis-
ing and hoping for the best re-
sults which will be given next
week. The second • game on the
schedule is to• be played et Gode-
rich on January 20. Other games

Lions Midgets Win
At Wingham 6-3
Coached by Doug Bartliff,
Clinton Lions played their first
snatch in the WOAA Midget
hockey series in Wingham Tues-
day evening and won. a 6-3
victory.
Winghem led at the end of the
first period 2-1 and Clinton at
the end of the second, 4-2.
Between them, Cameron and
Clare Maltby scored all Clinton's
goals, and -shared the assists. One
Wingham player was penalized,
but the Clinton kids escaped the
hoosegow.
