TO THE ELECTORS1 OF
HURON -BRUCE:
As it may not be possible for me to see you
all
personally before Monday, June 7th, I take this
menof requesting your support during this Pro-
vincial election campaign.
For the ever-increasing measure of confidence
you have :placed in me, I am most sincerely grate-
ful!. In again appealing for your support, I can
only promise to continue to serve you individually
and collectively, regardless of your political affd9ia-
tiors,
As your Member of the Ontario Legislature
for the past five years, I found it took some consid-
erable time to acquaint myself with :the different de-
partments in the Ontario Legislature, such as:—
Agriculture Municipal Affairs
Education Planning & Development
Health Public Welfare
Highways Public Works
Hydro
Travel & Publicity
and many others.
Lands & Forests
To the people of this Constituency who sup-
ported me in the past, I would like to mentibn, at
this time, a few of the important progressive achieve-
ments Which have taken place in the Riding of Huron-
Bruce, which I believe have .benefitted ail of you—
such as:—
Highway No. 4 through Wingham, Teeswater
and Ito Durham Highway.
Highways Nos. 86 and 87 through Wingham,
Bluevale and Wroxeter.
Highway No. 86 through Amberley, Lochalsh
and Lucknow.
The completion of the Bluewater Highway from
Port Albert through AmberIey to Kincardine.
Assistance given by Ontario Government to the
new wing of the Wingham General Hospital; .
Assistance given by the Ontaazb Government to Coon-
niunity Centres of Mild/112)y, Reids' Corners, Formosa,
Whitechurch, Fordwieh, and others pending.
Rural Hydro programmes for many farms and
villages, schools and Churches, which are being com-
pleted as quickly as possible, to make life more con-
venient for the farmer and housewife in ,all rural
communities. Thirty gangs are operating through-
out the Province of Ontario, with Rural Offices en
main centres throughout this Riding.
$a
I am also greatly interested in Community Ser-
vices in the Riding of Huron -Bruce, such as:—
Rural Fairs Plowing Matches
Public Health Services Crop Improvement
Junior Farmers' Club: Free Libraries.

step to vote for John Hanna, on June 7th, Who has
also represented the Tolwn of Wingham as Mayor

to serve his constituents, regardless of political af-
filiations.
Other important matters in which I am inter-
