The Mareh ,meeting of the WA.
of St. Paul's Anglican •Church,
was held on Tuesday, March 16,
at the Rectory. At this season
roads are almost impassable, yet
there was a fair attendance. Those
assisting Mrs. Hudie in conduct-
ing the service of prayer and
praise were Mrs. L. McKinnon and
Miss Holmes.
Routine business was quickly
conducted in order that the'time
might be given to Mrs. Bewley,
London, the guest speaker. As
this was the annual thank -offer-
ing meeting, Mrs. Bewley dealt
with activities of the WA. which
if well carried out give just'
cause .for thankfulness.
' First, in all important work, is
the training of. the very young, as
the early years of life are the
impressionable ones, The work is
then taken over by the Junior and
'teen age groups and finally be-
comes the .privilege of the senior
members, namely the .WA; The
speaker reviewed the many -fields
of mission work throughout the
world with their various needs,
showing what can be done to!help
those less fortunate than the ones
in this district.
