St. Andrew's WMS Discuss Missions Mrs. Robert Scott was hostess to members of the WMS of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Mrs. R. W. McKenzie presided and Mrs. J. Makins presented the scripture lesson and meditation. Current events were reviewed by Mrs. Lane who gave extracts from a recent letter from Rev B F. Andrew, descriptive of marriages, religious sects and life in. British Guiana. "Our Mission in India" was the subject of Mrs. E. Farquhar's top- ic from the study book. She asked "How are we making the message known in the fields for which we are responsible?" Mrs Charles Clifton conducted a Bible quizz. The meeting closed with prayer by the president, T h e hostess was assisted in serving refreshments by Mrs. Clifton and Mrs. McKenzie. The annual rally of Huron Presbyterial will be held in Au- burn, September 13. 0 Summer Weddings CLARK-McMILLAN (By our Hensall correspondent) A very pretty welding was solemnized Saturday afternoon, July 21, in James St. Urlited Church manse, Exeter, with Rev. H. J. Snell officiating, when An- nie Marie McMillan was united in marriage to James Alfred Clark, both of Hensall. The bride looked charming in her bridal dress of white net with white accessories over whish fell a veil of embroidered silk net arranged with carnations. She carried a bouquet of Ted 'roses and white carnations set in ad- iontusse fern and tied with white satin ribbon caught in lovers' knots on which hung a white carnation. Attending the bride was her sister, Mrs. Ronald Moir, wear- ing blue net and a help of red roses and white carnations in her hair and carrying a matching bouquet. Ronald Moir was best man. The bride's mother chose a suit of navy blue nylon with match- ing eccessories and a similar cor- sage. The groom's mother wore blue flowered crepe with white accessories, and a corsage of roses. The groom's sister, Mrs. Keith Buchanan, assisted wearing blue crepe with matching acces- sories and a corsage of roses. Following a reception held at the home of the groom's parents, the happy couple left for a trip through the States, the bride wearing a plink and white en- semble with a corsage of white carnations.
