Farm Forum Meets
S.S. No. 4 Farm ,Forum met
at the home. of Mr. and Mrs,
Jim Lobb on Monday evening.
There were eleven members pres-
ent. The radio topic was "Want-
ed -New Markets." There was a
good discussion, and it was de-
cided that the farmers do not
do enough advertising of their
products, viz, milk, butter, cheese,
eggs, meats, ate. As one cent
is taken from the price of one
hundredweight of milk for ad-
vertising, for the Milk Producers'
Association, it was decided that
this is a fair way to procure the
money for advertising purposes.
It was also decided that the farm-
er is not helping himself when
he is ,buying and using margarine.
Following the discussion there`
was a recreation periodwith a
contest, and afterwards games of
euchre and lost heir. Lunch was
served by the ladies. The meet-
ing next week will be at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. 'Charles
Williams, with - Mrs. Morgan
Jones and rim Lobb in charge
of the recreation.
