A quiet but pretty wedding
was solemnized at Clinton on
Saturday, November 4, at' 11 a.m.
when Rev. H. C. Wilson united in
marriage Marilyn June, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Beadle,
and Gordon Douglas Mohring,
'son of Mrs. A. Summers, Gode-
rich, and the late Mr. Mohring.
The bride looked lovely in a
street length dress of pale blue
sheer with matching accessories
and corsage of red 'roses. Mrs.
Gordon Miller, sister of the bride,
was matron of, honor and chose
a frock of pale yellow sheer with
matching accessories 'and corsage
of pink carnations.
Gordon Miller was best man.
Following the ceremony a re-
ception and dinner 'was served
at the home of the bride's parents.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs, Beadle wore a brown silk
dress with a mauve orchid. The
house was decorated with pink
and white streamers and wedding
bell. The bride's table was cent-'
red with a three-tier wedding
cake. Mrs, George Ryan and
Mrs. Worthy Fowler, Goderich,
aunts of the bride, served.
Later, the young couple left on
a wedding trip. For travelling
the bride donned a wine gabar-
dine suit with matching acces-
sories. On their return they will
reside in Goderich.

Charged with the theft of one
duck 'and one goose from Nelson
Cole, Clinton, some time Satur-
day night,, October 28, Murray
Lovett, 21, Clinton, was fined $20
andcosts in Magistrate Dudley
Holmes' court at Goderich Thurs-
day last. A similar charge against
his wife was withdrawn by Chief
of Police Leo Kelly.
In connection with , the same
affair, Kenneth McLean, Clinfon,
was fined $10' and costs, and Ben
Moore, Clinton, also was fined
$10 and costs,
In' addition, Nelson Cole was
paid $15 for the two birds which
were stated to be of a special
breed.
