where she was a patient for

that her sister, Miss Annie Laid-
law, is not enjoying very good
health at the present time.

carried a cascade of gardenias
and stephanotis.
Miss ,lean Din niwell was maid
of honour for her sister, and
wore a pale blue dress with lace
top and taffeta skirt with net
overskirt. She wore matching
lace mittens and her headdress
was a bandeau of pink ribbon
and pink pinocchio roses. She
carried a cascade of pink carnat-
ions and gladioli,

buttercup yellow taffeta dresses
with net overskirts and match-
ing net stoles and mittens. Their
stoles 'were held in place with
pins of pinocchio roses and
their headdresses were of pink
pinocchio roses, the same as the
maid of honour. They carried
cascades of pink and white glad-
ioli,

ther of the groom, acted as best
man, and George Gunn, Toronto,
and Jack Childs; Bowmanville,
were ushers.
For the reception in St. Paul's
Sunday School Room the bride's
mother received in a floor -leng-
th dress of misty grey with mat-
ching accessories and a corsage
of talisman roses. The groom's

lesson was taken from Galatians
1:1-10.
Mrs..' Clifford, secretory -treas-
urer, read her reports and had
the roll call answered. Mrs. Pic-
kett chose for her topic, "Pul-
ling Together", which was very
interesting. Mrs. Cochrane 'read
a poem "Your Little Boy or
Mine." The business of the meet-
ing was discussed and material,
was distributed among the mem-
bers toward a future bazaar!
