The B -A's grabbed off five runs in the first inning and held the lead all the way but at times it looked as if Port Albert might stage a rally. However, this was easily nipped in the bud by the B -A's. Chisholm and Bowden were on the mound for Port Albert. James F. Lucan 3 -RCAF 2 Last night's game was a heart- breaker to lose. Lucan went in- to a 3-2 lead in the first of the sixth after the umpires had de- cided it would be the last frame. In the last half, with two out, Killam banged a wicked triple to deep left, hut Smale failed to connect in. a planned squeeze play and struck out. Worst feature from an RCAF point of 'iew- was that their ace hurler, Boyde, struck out 14 bat- ters in six innings and allowed only two safe . hits! Errors at the wrong, time did the trick.
