IOOF NOTES Clinton Lodge IOOF No. 83 end Huronic Rebekah Lodge No. 306 will attend Divine Worship in St. Paul's Anglican Church on Sunday evening, May 7,at seven o'clock. The ladies will meet at the church at 6,50 and the men are to meet at the Lodge room at 6.30. HURON COUNTY LIBRARY The annual meeting of Huron County Library Co-operative will he held on Monday evening, May 8, in Seaforth District High School Auditorium. The Minister of 'Education for Ontario, Hon. Dana Porter, will be the guest speaker. The meeting is open to the public. Miss Emma Plumsteel, at pres- ent a tient in St, Joseph's Hospital, London, is expected home this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. McTavish and Mrs. McTavish, Sr., Goderich, were guests of Mrs. F. W. The literature was displayed in a novel way when Mrs. J. Hide- breoht and Mrs. R. Lawson pre- sented a skit. Mrs. J. A. Sutter, treasrrer, reported that $19,680.30 had been raised in 1949 which was an in- crease of $1,453.25. She also stated that $344,000 had been raised in the 25 years. Delegates to the London Con- ference Branch Convention to be held in. Sarnia on May 10-11, were appointed as follows: Miss Margaret Dane, Gorrie; Mrs. Wilford Mack, Crediton; Miss Ethel Dennis, Walton, and Mrs. D. Aberhart, Goderich. An invitation from James St , Exeter. for the 1951 Convention was accepted. The places for the various sectional meetings were announced as follows: North at Wroxeter; South at Grand Bend; Centre at Winthrop; West at Nile. The report of the nominating committee was accepted and the new officers elected. Mrs. L. C. White duly installed these of- ficers. This meeting commemorating the 25th anniversary of this Pres- byterial was outstanding for at- tendance, interest, and inspira- tion.
