Clifford Epps (conven- er"of the buying committee) re- ported that additionalequipment for the incubators in the hospit- al nursery has been purchased at a cost of .g78, that flashlights for nurses' use in the hospital were bought, as well as mats for the ,nurses residence., Members decided to order 2C1 bedside stools, an operating -room stool;- and four bed sides for the hospital. :Christmas gifts for the' nurses and for the patients will be arranged The rate of pay for car mileage for members taking their own cars to out of town meeting was set at ton cents per mile one way, plus one cent per mile for each: passenger., The next meeting will be on Monday, January 9, > when the nominating committee will name the new slate of officers, At the same meeting conveners of the various committees will give' their annual reports.
