To Mitchell In
Last Sked Game
Clinton Juniors ended their reg-
ular schedule last Friday night
losing to Mitchell 4-2. The game
was called because of darkness
with Mitchell, at bat in the last
of the fifth inning, Doug. Atclies
on, pitching for Mitchell tossed
a three hitter but was in trouble
often due to errors and walks.
Rick Elliott allowed five hits and
errors were the chief cause of the
five runs charged against hien.
Mitchell scored in every inning
except the third and had two runs
across in the fifth with one out
when the game was stopped.
Harry Elliott broke a 2-2 tie in
the fourth with a home run to
deep centre, to give the Legionair-
es the lead which they never re-
linquished.
