The youthful Clinton crew (tutliit their opponents 7-4. Bob McDonald, back in the lineup after two weeks holidays, led the way with three hits. Gerry Tebinitt also celebrated his return with a long triple in the first inning to drive in the first Clinton run. Bill Gatenby got the ohly extra -base blow for Mitchell, a triple, leading off in the third. Clinton pounced on Whitey Mal- cho for two runsin the first, Bob McDonald singled and came home on Tebbutt's triple, Garon flied out and Bill MacDonald singled to score Tebbutt. Mitchell came right back with two runs in their half. Chessel singled, Gatenby Was bit by a pitched ball, Both runners advanced on a wild pitch and scor- ed on an error by Bob McDonald. Both teams broke loose, ,for three finis in the third, Bill Mae - Donald was safe on an error and stole second on the first pitch. Murray Colquhoun singled, send, ing MacDonald to third./ Colquhoun stole second and both runners scored on Rick Elliott's hit. Elliott ended up on third base when Mit- chell attempted to throw Coign houn out at the plate. Rick came home on a wild pitch.
