"THE SEEKERS"
A thrilling, story of the first
settlers in. New Zealand.
Orderly marketing is a must,
although surpluses have been
small, explains W. B. Hoteore St.
Marys, of the Ontario Cream Pro-
ducers' Marketing Board.
The new scheme covers all dairy
farmers whose organizations are
members of the Ontario Milk
Producers' Co-ordinating Board
and will mean that all, producers
contribute to the scheme, it re-
places the former June settaside,
and the work accomplished with
the funds froin the equalized levy
is expected to contribute to ad -
valves for the industry:
"Ontario farmers have long re-
cognized the needs of the industry
as far as advertising and research
were concerned," said W.• 0. Coon,
of Elgin, chairman of the Co-
ordinating Board, when he an-
nounced the scheme. "Equal ac-
ceptance by all dairy farmers of
their responsibilities in these mat-
ters was the only answer,"
His views have been echoed by
leaders of the cream producers'
organization, who have supported
the inove since it was first pro-
posed.
