day named Eldon Bell, Blyth,
president for 1955.
He seucceeds Andre J. Deseck,
Clinton. D. A. Stirling, a director

For Obstructing
And Disturbing
Two young airmen appeared be-
fore Magistrate D. E. Holmes yest-
erday in connection with a dist-
urbance in a Clinton residence on
January 15. J. P. Nantel, 18 years
old, was find $10 and costs for
creating a disturbance while
drunk. J. L, Martin who obstruct-
ed Constable Tirnieck when he
tried to arrest Nantel, was fined
$20 and costs.

Charles W. MacLeod, RCAF Sta-
tion Clinton entered a plea of not
guilty in Magistrate A. F. Cook's
court, Stratford,' to a charge of
obstructing an officer in Mitchell
on Saturday.
MacLeod acted on his own be-
half in cross examination and de-
fence. He was; found- guilty and
given a suspended sentence of six
months and placed on $100 bond.
