In Memoriam
ASHTON—In loving memory of
our dear mother, Lillian Ashton,
who passed away one year ago,
October 25, 1953: -
"God saw you getting weary
Then did what He thought best, •
He put His arms around you Mum,
And whispered, "Come and rest".
We sit and think of you each day
And think of how you died—
To think you could not say good-
bye
Before you closed your eyes.
Our hearts still ache with sad-
ness;
Our eyes shed many a tear.
God knows how we miss you
As this ends the first long year."
—Sadly missed by all her family.
