When 13 years of age, Mr. Coop-
er commenced his career at the
organ factory in Clinton.
Today, 56 years later, and using
the same form of conveyance, a
bicycle, he goes to and fro to the
same factory, now the Sherlock -
Manning Piano Co, Ltd,
Having always resided in Clin-
ton, Mr. and Mrs. Cooper are re-
siding in the old Cooper home in
which the former was born.
The couple enjoy excellent health
and are members of Wesley -Willis
United Church, Clinton, where
Mrs. Cooper is a member of the
Woman's Association.

Church Young People held their
regular meeting on Tuesday even-
ing, in the form of a Thanksgiving
meeting.
Maryln Potter read the Scrip-
ture from Psalm 95. Polly Jervis
led in prayer. Joan Thompson
Stan McDonald led the respon-
sive reading and also took the
topic. He told how the original
Thanksgiving was observed and of
the original customs. He noted
that "Wein Canada have a great
deal for which to be thankful, liv-
ing in a Iand such as ours. There
are many who observe it as a mere
holiday when it should be a day of
praise and thanksgiving." The
worship service closed with a
hymn and prayer.
