auspices of the Girls Auxiliary of

,formance was very much enjoyed,
The program opened with Rossini's
organ overtnre, "William Tell" by
Prof Egener and from the opening
overture 'until the last number the
audience keenly enjoyed every mom_
en.- Miss Kate Lyttle took the part
of 'Ruth; Miss A.clelaide Nairn that
of Orpah and Miss Hazel Belcher
that of Naomi. Mr. Egener took the
part of Boaz. The solo parts were
all well taken and the choruses also
and Prof, Egener's organ music was'

St. Clair of Stashing, a suburb . of
Pittsburg, Mrs, St. Clair had not
been in good health for some rinse
but while bar condition wasgserious
it was not considered dangerous and
her ultimate recovery was confidently
looked for, until almost ti']e end. Her
sheath is the more sad as she leaves
a .family .of four children all under
eleven years of ago. Mrs. St, Clair
Was formerly Miss Bertha Sellery
and when trio family resided in Kin-
cardiae before moving to Chicago
she had often visited her sister in
Clinton. Many friends here will re-
gret her early death and sympathize
with the family in their bereavement,

An old resident of Clinton passed
out on Monday morning in the per-
son of Samuel Wilson, who c. el
from Mount Forest i 1872 and who
had been a resident ever since, He
was a tinsmith by trade and followed

Monday of the death of her sister,

Alta.
The deceased lady had not been in
the best of health for some little time
but her condition was not thought to
