Exeter Tines—The music lovers of
this community are to be furnished
with a treat when the South Huron
Choral Society present "Handel's Mes-
siah" in James Street .Methodist
church on December 15th and 16th.
The choral society is composed of
singers from the different churches
throughout this district and number a-
bout 170 voices.
Mrs. Robertson's Reception.
Goderich Signal—On Thursday, Nov,
17th, one of the dullest of November's
dull days, a cheery spot was found at
the home of Mrs. Howard Robertson,'
when she received for the first time
since her•marriage. The rooms looked
bright and homelike, decorated with
yellow and white chrysanthemums. In
the afternoon Mrs. Ford received with
her daughter, while Mrs. John Robert,
sou presided in the dining room. In
the evening Mr. and Mrs. Robertson
received together n company with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Robertson,
and Rev. J. E. and Mrs. Ford, and Mr.
Chas. Robertson, while Mrs, Chas.
Robertson poured tea in the dining
room. A number of the young friends
of the bride assisted in the dining room
and drawingroom, adding much to the
cheerfulness and gaiety. in the af-
ternoon many friends called, extending
their good wishes to Mrs. Robertson.
