The `233rd anniversary of the Battle
of the .Boyne was celebrated • right
royally -in Wingham on Thursday last,
when between 15,000 and 16,000 peo-
ple from the counties of`Huron ; Perth
Bruce ,and Grey gathered 'there clad
Winghaiih did its noblest to entertain
tlxem, succeeding admirably., Pre -
partition had,ibeen made Inc a large
crowd but the day being ideal the
drowd was much 'larger than was' an-
ticipated "`and when evening came
there was lttle left in the town irx'tlie
way of foodstuffs. It was a happy
and good-natured gathering, though,
and everybody went home happy, but,

in length; and was led by the Clinton
and Lutkhow Pipe Bands, pipirig as
they only know how to pipe, and the
Wingham town band. Taking part
in,the celebration were the Women's

On: Saturday, July 7th, the now Do-
minion Egg Regulations, became ef-
fective, one of the principal regula-
tions hieing that` all eggs .must Inc
ben�glzt and sold on a graded basis the=
,grades for fresh eggs being as fol-
lowst.Extras, Firsts; Seconds, Creek --
ed and Dirty. ,
This means that all producers sell-
ing eggs must' be paid Inc them -ac-
cording to•the above grades. This will

a flat rate per -dozen will have to be
discontinued, and all ,buyers .of -eggs
in ;future will ' have at least four
prices, one for each of the different
grades:

egg's which are unfit for human food.

No doubt it will take some time for
the new system to be developed and,
perfected to give satisfaction to all
concerned, but it is hoped that all will,
have considerable patience as it in
