Mrs. Sarah Jane .Bali, widow of the
late John Ball of Hullett township,
passed away at the , home Of her
daughter,--1Mrs. john G. Gibbings of.
that township, on Wednesday of last
week .-
t The late Mrs. B4.l1, .Whose maiden
naive w'as Palmer, was born in Dar-
lington township, seventy-seven years
ago. She caste up to Huron -County
with her parents in her early girl-
hood and, at the ergo of seventeen
was married to Mr. John Ball, They
settled in the Maitland Block, where
they continued to xeside until their
family was `pretty well grown, when
they moved' across the Base litre to a
larger far'nl, leaving the, homestead
to their son. Mr.:'Ball died. twebty
six. years ago. 'Mts. Ball .as survived
by four sons, G. IL. and.Amos Bali
of.Hullett, .1.'E, and William Ball .of
Tuckersmith, and four daughters:
