Ditched Near Wingham
Wingham, Ont„ June 2—Damage
to the cab and trailer of a truck
resulted Friday aftlernioo•n when the
truck and trailer ran off the road
near Zetland Bridge, two miles west
of Wingham. The machine cross-
ed the road and went through a Miss Carriew McCracken

Clydesdale Breeders •
An enthusiastic meeting of admir-
ers of the Clydesdale breed of hors-
es was held in. the Council Chamber,
Town Hall, Harriston, on Friday,
May 30th. The meeting was under
he supervision of John Glistorf of
Mt. Forest who is Vice -President of
•the Ontario Clydesdale ,Olub. The
purpose of the meeting Wee th0 or-
ganization of a field day for Western
Ontario. Representatives were
present from !Bruce, Huron and
Wellington.
This field day has been,'' held for
the past two years on the farm if
.Donald Wilkinson of Harriston and
has created a great deal of in-
terest, The meeting decided to hold
the field day this year at .Seaforth
on June 25th. It is hoped to rotate
the field days from year,' to year

Toronto. He suffered a heart attark
