and is now retired. Always interest-
ed in the historical baakgruond, of
his church, Dr, Badge was formerly
convener of the historical commit-
tee of the General As'heanbly of the
Presbyterian Church, and he con-
ducted a conventicle in 1933 com-
memorating the 3715th anmivensarY

Professor Theodor5e M. Greene,
Ph.D., of Princeton University,
speaking to the graduating class,
said that never before in, the history
of the world had the need for Crbis-
Lan teaching bee so great,
He said to the gtladuates that
theirs was the task oaf re-examining
and teaching Christian truths in
such a way as to make them- applic-
able to man's eberyday problems.
"No matter how concerned you
are with man's eternal salvation,'
eh said, "you cannot ignore his pres-
ent plight." Professor Greene we.rn-
ed graduates. against dominating
church services. "How often a prot-
estant minlster is an obstacle to
real communion with God."
