Even though The Netherlands
government has Prepared for any
eventuality in the European war
situation and, is ready to def end
itself against invasions that caun-
tr'y mill be represented again this
year to the Canadian National Ex-
hibition according to a cable re-
ceived at the C.N.E. The trade
display will not be made by The
Netherlands Proper but by the
Netherland& East Indies which
comprise Java, Madeira, Borneo,
Sumatra and Celebes,
Netherlands, East Indies
Netherlands last Indies author-
ities in Batavia, Java, capital of
the East Indies colaniess have re-
served display space in the Inter-
national Pavilion amounting to
2,400 square feet. Last year The
Netherlands exhibit was among
the most impressive in the Inter-
national Pavilion and it w s pro-
posed to return this year with au
even more comprehensive display
at the products of the country.
Not deterred by the situation in
Europe the Dutch colonies in the
East will endeavor to expand
their trade in the Western hemi-
sphere by means of displays at
the Canadian National E.chibition
this year. Work has commenced
on the preparation of the exhibit
which will be shipped in time to
arrive in Tarou.to early in • August.
