BELGRAVE
Th Young People of the, United
Church had, marked success in the
Presentation of their play in the
Forester's Hall Belgrave on Wed-
nesday night, The play entitled
"Back Again Home Town" is by the
famous playright Eugene Hafer;
after a long and successful run as a
Royalty Play it has only recently
been placed on the "free" list, It
is a play of youth and is especially
adapted to the group of young folk
who undertook its proctuctin.
'contains all the elements of a tho
It well costuaned. The aching as a
whole was well-done and was
especially clever in some scenes.
These was good individual work and
the group work harmonized in fine
fashion. The players had mastered
their parts well and both caught for
themselves and conveyed to the
audience the spirit of the ;play;
there was a feeling of reality about
their work and at no time was there
any indication of stiffness or re-
straint. Only three members of
the fotnner Dramatic Group wee In-
cluded in the caste beet the high
standard set by that group was well
maintained. This is likely to be
quitea popular production and al-
ready preliminary arrangements are
under way for taking the play to
two or three outside points. The
caste of flayees was as follows, Bob
Bruce, Back again' in the Old Home
Town, Henne'th Wheeler; Civic Wil -
fon, 'A stranger—Bob's friend, Roy
Bennett; Lucius Oppens'on, Who
did. not leave town,' Leslie 'Vin'cent;
Hugh Gorman, 'In league with
Judge Avery,' Jaynes Coulees; Judge

Vincent. Peggy War'ee, 'Who
Magee a party for Bob,' Ruth Wheel.

Freda Jhi'tlan; Shirley Area's, "rile

and carries the interest through on
surprising sltuation after anoth
