colds and influenza. Mr, Josepb
Curtis is at p:e',ent under the
doct'or's care, Henry Wheeler,
who has had pneumonia, is improv-
ing satisfactorily.
The community was shocked on
Thursday to learn of the sudden
death o•1 Mr, Stewart McGee of
Wdngham, He had many friends
here.

Residents in ,the community were
shocked to hear of the sudden
death during the night of .Mrs.
Johan Nethery at the halve of her
daughter, Mrs. C. H, Wade. Mrs.
Nethery, who had, resided in Bel -
grave for a number of years since
retiring from the faun on the third
concession of Morris, had spent the
time since Christmas with differ-
ent members of her family and
had only been a dew days with her
daughter,
She retired Thursday night feel-
ing as well as usual and it was dis-
covers d'Friday morning that she
had passed away during the night.
She was in her 79th Year. Her
husband predeceased her a few
years ago, .She Is survived by her
daughters, Mrs. C. H. Wade, Bel.
grave; Stell, who teaches in Sas-
katoon; and Mrs. Gallaher in. the
West; her sone, Cooper, in East
Wawanosh; Gilbert, Abner and
Herman, .in Morris. he funeral
was held Monday eaternoon at three
o'clock from Trinity„ Anglican
Church, Belgrave. . "

The Council met in the Fire In-
surance office to hold their regular
monthly meeting, according to ad-
journment, themembers were all
present, the Reeve J. W. Getable,
presiding.
The minutes of last regular meet-
ing were read and our motion of
McCallum and Baker, ,were adopted,

the Reports of the School Attend-
ance Officer for January and
February, as read, be- adopted and

that the Clerk be hereby instructed
to prepare a by-law to issue de-
bentures for $4000.00 for heatiag

the resignation of Dr. Whitley as
Sanitary Isspector, be accepted and
that Gordon Underwood be ap-
pointed to complete the remainder
