Township secretary R. G. Thompson opened naminatiens at 1:00 p.in., when the 1042. reeve .and council were the only names put in n.ornination and they were declared elected by acelantation, They are; reeve, Benjamin Rath-:• well; councillors, Harry Corey George Ginn. J. R. 'Sterling, Rob- ert Smith. For the discussion of township, and county affairs W. H. Lobb;' Clinton, was appointed nen rtnan. He called on Reeve Rothwell to address the ratepayers. Mr Rath - well dealt with the procee3tnge of county council for the year in-so- far nso- far as they related to the town- ship, Each councillor wias ca11ed in alphabetical order and each gave an account of the work over which' he had had individual supervision.
