Not Refusing To Sell Firewood Although objecting to the low ceiling price on. firewood and main- taining that "something will have to be done about it," Stratford dealers are not refusing to sell wood as is the case to Woodstock. One clearer here reported that he had beau not- ified of the ceiling price only Sat- urday and, although he felt it was too low, no action had yet been taken to raise it. „ In Woodstock, citiaevs have found it almost impossible to bny firewood to relieve the chill of the past few void' clays. Although the dealers have considerable supplies in their yards, they mraintain that the ceiling is too low and refuse to sell while they clicker with the 'Price Control Board for a higher ceiling. Woodstock dealers, point out that arbor costs have increased which has resulted in a rise in the Dost of wood. They also stress that it has become necessary each year to travel greater distances to the bush, Stratford 'Beacon -Herald Auction Sale Farm, Farm Stock and Implements Lot 3, Concession 10, Grey Twp. ye Mile East of Brussels thinleges • FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th apply to L, Jaeldin Sale Stank, at 1 P.
