He was expected to leave the .inetl• tution but he ,suffered a sudden, Aieart seizure and died. Judge McFadden was appointed county fudge in 'March, 1931, to succeed ,the late J. (G. .Kerr, KC. Prior to that he practiced law at Sault Ste. Marie. He ie' survived by his 'wife, two sons, Albert of London and Richard of Chatham.
