On Thursday evening, the regular.

able to speak oar language. He spent
a short time, near Listowel, then
moved to the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Graham Campbell. One year later
he went to work on. the farm ot Mr,
and Mrs. Sam Sweeny, and in his
two years there his genial dieposit-
iou and willing co-operation won him
the respect of all. Learning our
language was accomplished by con.
taut study,
Possessed of a fine tenor voice
but without training, Mietek joined

advantage of vocal training from
the orangist and choir -leader, Louis
D. Thompson. On Wednesday he
