The regular monthly meeting or
the Mononteif W.M.S. was held at
the home of Mrs. Hazlewood, Walton,
on Wednesday, May 4th. The meet -
Ing opened with Mrs. Lenard Machan
presiding. Mrs, Orval Harrison
and Mrs. Alan McTaggart took
charge of the devotional part of
the meeting which closed with Mrs.
Alex Speiran leading in prayer. The
Roll call was answered by members
responding with a verse containing
the word "World." The business
peslod followed with the president
Mrs, Alex Speiran taking charge.
'rhe arrangements were completed
for sending the- overseas relief bale.
An invitation extended to the
society from Walton W.M.S. was
accepted. Also . nal invitation to
present our Sacred' Drama at Ethel
United Church, Sunday, May 15, Mrs,
Wm. Smith then gave a very in-
structive paper on Christian Stew-
ardship stressing "Advance" which

this year• Miss Olive Speiran then
, revolved with a solo. The tact

of the Gorges," was very capably
given by Mrs, Fere. McNaught, The
'meeting closed with the winging of a
familiar hymn followed by the

The W.A. then opened their meet-
ing by singing of a hymn. The
president, Mrs. Kenneth Ludington
taking, charge, Plans were made for
