was held in the lodge rooms on
Thursday night. Twenty tables of
euchre were in platy. Prize winners '
at cards were Mrs. D, A, Mann and
Adrian McTaggart, Consolation
Prizes went to Mrs. W, Little and
Angus Brown. Clarence Pegelow
acted as auctioneer for the lunch
boxes. Proceeds were for the can-
cer, polio, and T. B. fund of the
lodges,

The regular mohtaly meeting of
St. John's W. A. was held at the
home of Mrs. B, Wihittard on Tues-
day, April 2910, The meeting open-
ed with the hymn. "Fling out the
Banner." Mrs. A. Morrow read
the Scripture. The President, Mra
Kerr lead the prayer service. The
members prayer. the Lord's prayer
and the prayer -partners prayer were
in unison. Minutes of the previous
meeting were given by the sec.
retail, Mrs. G. Davis. Offering was
$3.40 and 71.60 for remants of print
goods sold. Correspondence was
read by Mrs. el. Morrow, regarding
the Deanery meeting to be held
in Exeter on June 2nd. Five dollars
was voted for the ,annual thank -
offering to be sent or taken to the
W. A. Semi -Annual to be held in
Kitchener on May 7th - 8th, Our

A very impressive service was
held in the United Church on Sunday
morning, May 41h, when the new
Kallman Organ was dedicated to the
glory of God and in loving memory
of Monty Brothers, Roy Pierce and
Chester 'entitle, men of this con-
gregation who paid the Supreme
Sacrifice; in World War II. The
minister spoke on, "The Ministry
of Music in Worship." The anthem
"We Praise The Lord, Almighty"
by Adam Geibel, was rendered by
the choir. Mrs. R. B. Cousins and
Miss Betty sang the duet „Bless
This House", by May H. Brake.
In the evening, the congregation
watt host to local Oddfellows and
.Rehekabs. The sermon was based

Fulton spoke on Christ blessing

dom of Heaven and spoke to the
parents on the bringing up and re
ligious training or young children.
A large congregation was in at
tendance and anthem was sung by
the choir. In the evening Mr. Fulton
spoke from the 21st re, "1 w111 lift

whence mine aid." A beautiful solo
was sung by Mrs. Smaridon,

TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE

to all farmers is the Open House
being held by Robert Bell Indus-
tries Limited at their mondere plant
at Seaforth, Ont., on May 13 and 14,
1952.
Threshing machines in actual
Process of manullecture will be
shown on those dates, and a tous
of the Separator Assembly Division
of the plant should prove both con-
structive and educational. Robert
Bell Tndnstr'ies Limited have de-
signed a new separator for use with
the forage harvester, and this, along
with the well-known Bell Straw
Cutter, will be on dieplay. The
Company also hopes to have ready
for the open house a newly develop-
ed grain thrower, which should be

may he moved readily from one
location to another,
